Management of the Individual in an Organization

The area of management of the individual in an organization seeks to generate reflection among participants with regard to the meaning of "the individual" as the basis for humanist management. The management of the individual is a responsibility which falls upon every manager. The manager as such must respond not only for results but also for the development, commitment and contribution of his colleagues individually, and as a team.

The course is designed to arouse awareness in participants, and describe the responsibility which management were implies in the formation and development of individuals, and in providing elements for self-knowledge (motivations, values, virtues, mature personality, process of attention), such that are participants become aware of their own areas of improvement, in the interests of being true and comprehensive managers, and genuine leaders.

The course also seeks to help participants develop skills in managing people, specifically referring to the personnel function, and the support which the HR department should provide to the entire organization. Variables of working environment, and the attitudes of individuals which determine the formation of a working group, understanding the nature of a team, and of working groups, and of all forms of participatory organization, and their importance in the organization of the future.

Finally, the course shows the various notes more types of change which are faced by organizations, and the strategies used to implement them, with special emphasis on capacity of leadership of those who are responsible for the implementation of change.
