Master in Business Administration , MBA
Work schedule
The MBA is an occasion for integral development of the participants, who does not have to abandon his job and his income, as might happen if he were to take a full-time course. This benefits the participant and the business for which he works.
This format, which requires a demanding academic formation over two years, at the same time as professional practice, is one of the advantages we offer. The compatibility of the two activities provides far more rapid, deeper and more effective assimilation of concepts and schemes, and their direct transfer into one’s daily work, in process of synergy between theory and practice.
The MBA requires attendance at INALDE on Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings, with preparatory work done during the week for about 22 hours. In addition, each year there is an intensive week at INALDE, which requires full-time attendance.
During the third semester of the program, participants will have the opportunity to travel to Mexico to the IPADE International MBA Week. This meeting which has been successfully held since 1998, brings together teaching staff and executives from all parts of the Americas and from equivalent programs to share experiences and knowledge, and to generate international contacts. During this week - and following the case method - participants form multi-cultural groups to engage in teamwork, and in general sessions. This encourages the exchange of opinions and the formation of international relations.
The academic burden during the International Week is high, but the timetable leaves room for visits to some of the major tourist sites of Mexico City. The cost of the trip is included in the matriculation fee for the course, excluding only certain meals, taxes and visas.

International Week
“The international week gives the opportunity to contact participants from other countries, studying within the same system, and it seemed that our group was above the academic expectations proposed. In addition to the academic activities, the group was able to integrate better and to get to know each other in an atmosphere different from that which we share in Colombia.”
